Just before I left for Portugal, Antler luggage approached me to see if I would like to review one of their stylish new four-wheel Liquis suitcases. And of course I said yes!
I have never owned a fancy hard-shell suitcase before, nor a four-wheeler so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I can tell you that it is BRILLIANT. I have now taken my Antler Liquis to Portugal, Paris, and to a shoot near Hampton Court Palace last weekend and it has performed wonderfully. It is super light for its size (I chose the largest size suitcase), durable and so, so easy to manoeuvre (I could never go back to a two-wheel suitcase after owning one of these. No more dragging: I can wheel it in front or beside me).
I have hefted it up and down Metro stairs in Paris, manoeuvred it across gravel and wet, slightly soggy ground, pushed it along uneven pavements, hauled it on and off buses and trains and filled it with olive oil, vinegar, cheese and wine (albeit carefully wrapped!) on the way back from Portugal.
It has TSA approved locks (essential for USA travel) and looks sleek and stylish, even with a few scratches here and there (and a big ribbon bow I bejazzled it with* ;)
Would I invest in one? Yes, absolutely. I love it.
